Deep Cycle AGM Batteries
Deep Cycle AGM Batteries (Absorbent Glass Mat) have very low internal resistance, is capable to deliver high currents on demand and offers a relatively long service life, even when deep cycled. AGM Batteries are low temperature tolerant, shock and vibration resistant and have a low internal resistance for higher discharge current. AGMs are a great choice for solar energy storage applications because they are leak-proof, spill-proof and ultimately maintenance free.
Deep Cycle Flooded
Deep cycle battery is a battery designed to cycle (discharge and recharge) many times using most of its capacity. Here are some of the applications for a Deep Cycle battery: Marine applications such as Trolling motors for recreational fishing boats, Industrial electrically-propelled forklifts and floor sweepers Motorized wheelchairs, Golf Carts and UTVs, Off-grid energy storage systems for solar power or wind power, power for instruments or equipment at remote sites, recreational vehicles, traffic signals, and uninterruptible power supply (‘UPS’).
Deep Cycle Gel Batteries
A GEL battery generally lasts longer than AGM; improved heat transfer to the outside is one reason. (The gel separator moves heat whereas the absorbent glass mat of the AGM acts as insulator.) A modern gel battery (also known as a gel cell) is a VRLA (valve regulated lead–acid) battery with a gelified electrolyte; the sulfuric acid is mixed with fumed silica, which makes the resulting mass gel like and immobile. Unlike a flooded wet cell lead—acid battery, these batteries do not need to be kept upright.
Deep Cycle Lithium Batteries
Lithium is the lightest of all metals, has the greatest electrochemical potential and provides the largest specific energy per weight. Rechargeable batteries with lithium metal on the anode could provide extraordinarily high energy densities. These batteries have automotive-grade components for durability, safety, and a current sensor, fuse, and temperature sensor. It’s waterproof and dust proof, with an IP67 environmental rating—the highest in its class by far. Our lithium batteries are designed to be a true replacement for lead-acid batteries and can be used with existing lead-acid chargers with AGM/GEL settings (I-E profile).
